Waverley Borough Council (WBC) has just announced new car park charges for 2025/26.
These increases are necessary in order to improve, maintain and repair the car parks, ensure that they well lit so that residents can walk safely to their destination, and enforce them to guarantee that there are spaces available when residents want them.
And the revenue will be reinvested in new ticket machines that make it easier and CHEAPER to pay.
Waverley Is Investing £250,000 In New Ticket Machines Next Year.
These new ticket machines will take all forms of contactless payment.
And there will still be one machine taking cash payment in each car park.
New Machines Mean Residents No Longer Need To Pay A 10p Fee To Use RINGO
The one-hour rate is increasing by 10p across the majority of car parks.
However, new machines mean cashfree users do not have to pay by RINGO.
