The bloomin’ marvellous Badshot Lea Community Garden had another boost recently when it was successful in applying for a Your Fund Surrey grant. This grant has funded a new path for the garden meaning it is now fully accessible and open to everybody in the community.
At the official opening on Sunday, Cllr Catherine Powell, Farnham Residents County Councillor for North Farnham said “Watching the Badshot Lea Community Garden go from a small patch of green space into a thriving and much-loved community asset has been truly inspiring. I am very pleased to have been able to support the new path, and seeing it well used from day one, enabling increased access, was superb.”
Farnham Residents will always help local community groups in their endeavours.
